Harvest special - Four expressions of Sangiovese
Right now it's harvest time at our vineyard Terreno and that means it’s time to welcome you to this year’s harvest party at The Winery Hotel. We celebrate the moment when the grapes, having reached perfect ripeness, are carefully hand-picked – bunch by bunch – and brought into the winery for their next stage of transformation.
As part of the celebration, one of our sommeliers will host a tasting that takes you on a journey with Sangiovese – the king of grapes in Tuscany and the main grape in Winery Red – in its many expressions. You’ll taste Winery Red, produced in our urban winery, straight from the tank, the latest vintage in bottle and a selection of internationally acclaimed Chianti Classico wines from Terreno. The tasting gives you the opportunity to discover Sangiovese in four completely different shades and follow the wine's journey from young to more mature.
No prior knowledge required.
