Tour de France - A wine tasting journey through France

Few countries can rival France when it comes to the diversity and richness of its wine regions. With three distinct climate zones, a vast variety of soils and landscapes, and a deep-rooted focus on provenance, each region – and the wines born there – tells its own unique story.

In this tasting, we explore four of France’s most iconic wine regions, delving into their terroirs, grape varieties, winemaking styles and how these differences are reflected in the glass. We willl also cover ageing and serving temperatures.

You will taste four carefully selected wines – from Bordeaux, Beaujolais, Provence and the Rhône Valley – guided by The Winery Hotel’s sommelier Phillippe Björknert.

No prior knowledge required. The tasting is held in Swedish.
