In this exclusive tasting experience, we deep dive into the heart of Tuscany and explore the unique characteristics that make Chianti Classico one of the world’s most celebrated wine styles.
Through a tasting of six different wines, we’ll explore a range of vintages, producers and styles – from the traditional to those with a more modern expression. Together, we’ll dive into the region’s unique terroir, the iconic Sangiovese grape and the framework that defines Chianti Classico DOCG. Along the way, you’ll also gain insights into how to pair these wines with food and how they evolve over time with ageing.
The tasting is led by The Winery Hotel’s head sommelier, John Sterner.
