A wine tasting that takes you on a journey to the heart of Tuscany and the iconic Chianti Classico. Experience the timeless elegance of the wines and explore the unique characteristics that make Chianti Classico one of the world's most appreciated wine styles.
Let yourself be guided through a tasting where we compare different vintages, producers, and styles – from the traditional to those with a more modern expression. We dive deep into the area's terroir, the iconic Sangiovese grape, and the rules that govern Chianti Classico DOCG. You will also gain insights into food and wine pairing and how these wines develop with ageing.
We taste a total of 6 wines. The tasting is led by The Winery Hotel's head sommelier, John Sterner.
No prior knowledge required. The tasting is held in Swedish.
