Experience the flavours of winter at The Winery Hotel – a dinner rooted in Chianti Classico. Inspired by our vineyard, Terreno, in the heart of Tuscany, we invite you to a winter experience featuring a four-course menu perfectly paired with wines from the estate, the season’s freshly harvested olive oil and wine tastings almost daily. Just like in Tuscany during winter, when winemakers gather, taste each other’s wines, cook, laugh and talk late into the night, we create a warm and relaxed atmosphere for colleagues, friends or family. Every moment here is a heartfelt tribute to wine.

A journey of taste to Tuscany – in the heart of winter

Winter at our vineyard Terreno is calm yet full of life. The year’s harvest rests in oak barrels and steel tanks, slowly beginning its journey towards maturity. Our winemaker, Sofia Ruhne, tastes, analyses and makes important decisions to bring out each vintage’s unique expression.

Meanwhile, our livelier wines – such as the rosé, Terreno Rosato di Toscana – await bottling.

Winter is also when our red wines take centre stage – structured, balanced and long-lived. Now they begin their path towards depth and elegance. These wines, carrying the signature of the vintage and the terroir, form the foundation of everything we do – both at Terreno and at The Winery Hotel.

At the same time, the season’s freshly harvested olives are being pressed. The first bottles of our Terreno Olio Extra Vergine di Oliva are now bottled and are novello – vibrant, grassy, with peppery elegance and a striking green colour that brings life to every dish. A natural feature on our winter table.

This year's winter menu in restaurant Terreno Kitchen consists of four courses matched with artisan wines from Terreno. The winter menu is served Monday - Saturday during the period November 19, 2025 - January 13, 2026.

Chambre separée in our urban winery

Experience dining in complete privacy in our Chambre Séparée rooms. Adjoining our restaurant Terreno Kitchen, you and your party can enjoy food and wine in perfect harmony – in a private and intimate setting. In Veranda Sangiovese, dine surrounded by unique wines with your own private balcony overlooking Arenastaden. In the Wine Gallery, you are seated right next to the kitchen, where the artistry of gastronomy comes to life. Guided tour of the winery

Step into the winery in the heart of the hotel and follow the freshly picked grapes’ journey from barrel to bottle. Enjoy a guided tour and a sample of Winery Red – our own wine crafted from grapes grown at our vineyard Terreno in Tuscany. Read more and book here.
