In our wine dispensers in the Winemaker's Bar, you can discover new and exciting wines that can sometimes be difficult to find. The wines are constantly changing and there are wines from all over the world and of different tastes - perfect if you want to try new wines or have a little tasting on your own. Below you can read more about the wines currently available in our wine dispensers.

1. 2020 Torbreck Woodcutter's Shiraz

This wine is from the Barossa Valley, northeast of Adelaide. A powerful Australian wine made from 100% Shiraz, the producer Torbreck is known for its intense, complex wines focused on Rhône varieties. Woodcutter's Shiraz offers deep flavors of dark berries, spices, licorice, and a hint of oak, with soft tannins that create a full, balanced finish.

2. 2020 Lapostolle Apalta

Lapostolle's 2020 Apalta wine is an embodiment of the Apalta region's excellence in winemaking. Crafted by Lapostolle, renowned for sustainable practices, this blend showcase, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carménère, Merlot, and Syrah. Expect rich, ripe fruits, velvety tannins, and a reflection of the unique terroir, nestled in Chile's Colchagua Valley.

3. 2013 Cayuse Syrah

Here we have a wine from Walla Walla Valley, located in the southeastern corner of Washington State. A powerful and elegant wine experience with complex notes of dark berries, smoke, olives, charcuterie, and minerality, it offers velvety tannins and vibrant acidity. The producer, Cayuse, led by Christophe Baron, is known for biodynamic methods and Rhône-inspired wines with depth and character.

4. 2020 Rust en Vrede Stellenbosch Estate

From Stellenbosch, South Africa, this full-bodied wine is a powerhouse of dark berries, cassis, and spices, with elegant tannins and a long finish. The grapes, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot are grown by the renowned producer Rust en Vrede, known for its high-quality red wines. The region is ideal for premium wine production, thanks to its warm climate and cool breezes.

5. 2023 Podere San Bruno Piemonte Barbera

San Bruno Piemonte Barbera is an Italian red wine based on the Barbera grape, which is grown in the Piedmont region of northwestern Italy. Barbera is known for its high acidity and fruity character, with notes of cherry, plum, and sometimes a touch of spices. Wines from Piedmont, especially those bearing the name 'San Bruno,' tend to be of high quality and can range from young and light to more complex and age-worthy wines.

6. 2021 Michele Chiarlo Barbaresco Reyna

Michele Chiarlo, a prestigious wine producer from Piedmont, founded his winery in 1956. Reyna Barbaresco is made from Nebbiolo, a grape known for its elegant, tannic wines. The wine offers red fruits, roses, and spicy notes, with oak aging for added complexity. It is age-worthy but crafted in a style that is accessible in its youth.

7. 2019 Zenato Amarone Classico

Here we have a spicy, full-bodied wine with flavors of dried fruit and chocolate, made from the classic Amarone grapes Corvina, Rondinella, and Croatina in the town of Valpolicella. Zenato was founded in 1960 by Sergio and Carla Zenato, who still run the brand together with their children Nadia and Albert. Their vineyards are located in the area around Lake Garda.

8. 2019 Col D'Orcia Brunello di Montalcino

This is an elegant wine from one of Tuscany's most prestigious appellations. Made from 100% Sangiovese, this wine offers aromas of cherry, plum, herbs, and subtle spices. Col d'Orcia, a historic producer, follows a sustainable philosophy and creates wines with exceptional structure and balance.

9. 2021 Côtes du Jura Tradition

    This wine comes from eastern France, near the Swiss border. The grapes are 60% pinot noir, 30% trousseau, and 10% poulsard. The producer is Jerome Arnoux, who started making wine at the age of 17. Spicy and nuanced with flavors of strawberries, cinnamon, and dried cranberries.

    10. 2006 Domaine Lucien Jacob Gevrey-Chambertin

      This is an elegant red wine from Burgundy, France, made from the Pinot Noir grape. The producer, Lucien Jacob, is a family-owned estate known for its traditional winemaking methods and respect for terroir. The wine offers deep flavors of ripe berries, spices, and earthy notes, with fine structure.

      11. 2012 Château Fontenil Fronsac

      Château Fontenil is the personal estate of the world-renowned Bordeaux winemakers Dany and Michel Rolland in Fronsac. The wine, which bears the vineyard's name, is made from 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is aged in French barriques, for 15-18 months. The aroma is classic for Bordeaux wines, featuring dark cherries, cedarwood, leather, and tobacco. The taste is medium-bodied with medium astringency, with distinct notes of cherries.

      12. 2021 Château Giscours Margaux

      This wine is an elegant Bordeaux blend, primarily Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and Petit Verdot. It offers dark berry and floral notes, with hints of cedar, tobacco, and spice. Château Giscours rich history and meticulous winemaking highlight Margaux’s refined, structured style, ideal for aging.

      13. 2019 Alberto Orte Atlándida

      Alberto Orte is a Spanish winemaker known for his work in preserving and showcasing traditional grape varieties and historical winemaking methods from lesser-known regions of Spain. Atlántida 2019 is a wine from the Cádiz region in Andalusia. Made from the Tintilla grape, a local variant of Graciano, it has a unique character. Atlántida is renowned for its dark fruit tones, minerality, and elegant tannins, with clear influences from the Atlantic coast and Andalusia's warm climate.

      14. 2022 Comando G La Bruja de Rozas

        This is a wine from the Sierra de Gredos area in Spain. It is produced by the winery Comando G and made from old vines. The wine is crafted from the Garnacha grape and offers an elegant and fruity flavor profile with notes of red berries, spices, and minerality. It is known for its natural winemaking techniques and expressive character.

        15. 2011 Viña Tondonia Reserva

          This is a prestigious wine from La Rioja, Spain. Made by Viña Tondonia, it's a Reserva aged longer than the average Rioja. A blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano, and Mazuelo grapes, it offers a complex taste of mature red fruits, tobacco, leather, vanilla, and spices. Known for its elegant structure, balanced acidity, silky tannins, and excellent aging potential.

          16. 2017 Viña Pedrosa Reserva

            A prominent family-owned estate in Ribera del Duero, Spain. Producing wines with a traditional, flavorful, and robust expression of the grape Tempranillo. We have notes of dark berries, toasted oak, and fine vanilla tones from the French and American oak barrels. The tannins have had time to soften.

            17. 2023 Thora Vingård Solaris Pure

              Solaris Pure is grape-typical with citrus and lime, aromatic hints of elderflower. Natural winemaking with indigenous yeast to impart a local character. The wine has matured in stainless steel tanks with its lees for 10 months and is bottled unfiltered. The proximity to the sea in the south of Sweden makes itself present in the wine.

              18. 2022 Villa Bucci Verdicchio

              The Bucci family started bottling under their own label in 1980 from their estate in Marche, Italy.
              This white wine comes from organically grown grapes, and their wines have been voted Italy's best several times. The vineyard is located near the sea, giving the wine a hint of salinity, a fresh crispness with notes of yellow apples and almonds

              19. 2020 Noble Vines 446 Chardonnay

              Noble Vines is owned by the Indelicato family, who also own Delicato Family Wines, including wineries such as Black Stallion. The grapes for Chardonnay 446 are hand-picked from the organically cultivated vineyards in San Bernabe when they have reached optimal ripeness and the perfect balance between acidity and ripe fruit. Fermentation then takes place in both stainless steel tanks and a combination of American and French oak barrels to provide the wine with the desired depth and richness. The wine has a creamy texture with characteristics of pineapple, peach, honeydew melon, lemon zest, and a subtle hint of vanilla from the oak barrels.

              20. 2023 Albariño de Fefiñanes

              Albariño de Fefiñanes is a remarkable white wine from Rías Baixas, Spain. Made from the Albariño grape, it offers vibrant acidity, zesty citrus flavors, and a distinctive mineral character. Produced by Bodegas del Palacio de Fefiñanes, a renowned winery with a rich heritage, known for crafting exceptional Albariño wines that capture the essence of the region.

              21. 2022 COS Rami

              Giusto Occhipinti, the uncle of Arianna Occhipinti, perhaps the most talked-about young winemaker in Italy today, established his estate in Vittoria, southern Sicily, as early as 1980. He aimed to revive the tradition of making classic wines in the way their ancestors once did. This particular wine ferments with the skins for five days. It is then aged for about nine months in concrete tanks before being bottled without fining or filtration, but with very little sulfur. The Grecanico and Inzolia grapes give the wine flavors of yellow fruits, flowers, and honey notes.

              22. 2023 Terreno Rosato di Toscana

              From our own vineyard, Terreno, in Greve in Chianti, Tuscany, Italy. Terreno is connected to The Winery Hotel through the Ruhne family, who have been making wine here since 1988. Over these thirty years, they have improved the quality of the wines by returning to a natural and organic winemaking process while simultaneously modernizing the winery. The wines produced are both classic and innovative. Numerous awards confirm that it is possible to create first-class organic wine, where tradition and innovation meet – in the same bottle. Terreno Rosato di Toscana is a medium-bodied rosé with the Sangiovese grape’s characteristic lively cherry-scented fruitiness, along with notes of lingonberry and raspberry

              23. 2022 Terreno Bianco Professore

              From our own vineyard Terreno in Greve in Chianti in Tuscany, Italy. Here we – the Ruhne family –started making wine in 1988. Over time, we have developed our own philosophy that runs as a common thread through our work. It consists of the best of our two worlds; Swedish pragmatics mixed with Italian creativity and respect for traditions. Terreno Bianco Professore is a complex and full-bodied white wine that is made from a small vineyard of barely one hectare. The grapes grown are Roussanne, Petit Manseng, Malvasia Blanca and Trebbiano. The wine has the character of yellow apples with a certain nuttiness and subtle rounded barrel character with maintained high acidity and freshness.

              24. 2019 Terreno Otto di Sillano

              From our own vineyard Terreno in Greve in Chianti in Tuscany, Italy. Here we – the Ruhne family –
              started making wine in 1988. Over time, we have developed our own philosophy that runs as a
              common thread through our work. It consists of the best of our two worlds; Swedish pragmatics mixed
              with Italian creativity and respect for traditions. Terreno Otto di Sillano is youthful fresh aromas with hints of grapefruit and apple. The taste is dry with clear fruitiness and elegant acidity.The grape is Trebbiano and fermentation takes place in clayver where the wine is aged for six months before bottling.

              25. 2010 Terreno Chianti Classico Le Tre Vigne

              From our own vineyard Terreno in Greve in Chianti in Tuscany, Italy. Here we – the Ruhne family – started making wine in 1988. Over time, we have developed our own philosophy that runs as a common thread through our work. It consists of the best of our two worlds; Swedish pragmatics mixed with Italian creativity and respect for traditions. Terreno Chianti Classico is a medium-bodied wine with the typical lively cherry-perfumed fruitiness of the Sangiovese grape with fresh and clear tannins and a soft rounded oak finish from large oak barrels.

              26. 2019 Terreno Chianti Classico Riserva Le Bonille di Sopra

                From our own vineyard Terreno in Greve in Chianti in Tuscany, Italy. Here we – the Ruhne family – started making wine in 1988. Over time, we have developed our own philosophy that runs as a common thread through our work. It consists of the best of our two worlds; Swedish pragmatics mixed with Italian creativity and respect for traditions. Terreno Chianti Classic Riserva has been aged longer in toasted barrels and the grapes come from older vines. The wine consists of Sangiovese but also a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine has been stored in two 2400 liter oak barrels and another year in bottle. Vintage 2019 is one of the top three best vintages of this millennium. Balanced temperatures throughout the year give elegant and complex wines made to age. A vintage that reminds us of the great Chianti Classicos during the 1980's. In the glass Inviting aromas of ripe cherries, forest berries and peppery spices with a taste of finely preserved fruit and hints of chocolate and tobacco. A full-bodied, age worthy wine with a marked freshness and high elegant tannins.

                27. 2019 Terreno Chianti Classico Sillano Gran Selezione

                From our own vineyard Terreno in Greve in Chianti in Tuscany, Italy. Here we – the Ruhne family – started making wine in 1988. Over time, we have developed our own philosophy that runs as a common thread through our work. It consists of the best of our two worlds; Swedish pragmatics mixed with Italian creativity and respect for traditions. The grapes for this wine come from the neighboring village of Montefioralle from the Sillano vineyard which is located at 500 meters above sea level. This wine is one of Terreno’s prestige wines from the very good vintage of 2019.

                28. 2019 Terreno Chianti Classico ASofia Gran Selezione

                From our own vineyard Terreno in Greve in Chianti in Tuscany, Italy. Here we – the Ruhne family – started making wine in 1988. Over time, we have developed our own philosophy that runs as a common thread through our work. It consists of the best of our two worlds; Swedish pragmatics mixed with Italian creativity and respect for traditions. The grapes for this wine come from the oldest vineyard on Terreno planted in 1980. This is an elegant expression of Sangiovese with cherry notes and polished tannins. This 2019 vintage is beginning to show some signs of maturity and is in a great phase to drink right now.

                29. 2016 Terreno Momento Massimo

                  From our own vineyard Terreno in Greve in Chianti in Tuscany, Italy. Here we – the Ruhne family – started making wine in 1988. Over time, we have developed our own philosophy that runs as a common thread through our work. It consists of the best of our two worlds; Swedish pragmatics mixed with Italian creativity and respect for traditions. Terreno Momento Massimo. This is Terreno’s ‘’Super Tuscan’’ a wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. The wine is aged for two years in French barriques and is a full-bodied wine with hints of dark cherries, chocolate, tobacco, cedar and leather. This wine from the 2016 vintage has had some development and is drinking very well at this stage.

                  30. 2021 Terreno Il Momento

                    From our own vineyard Terreno in Greve in Chianti in Tuscany, Italy. Here we – the Ruhne family – started making wine in 1988. Over time, we have developed our own philosophy that runs as a common thread through our work. It consists of the best of our two worlds; Swedish pragmatics mixed with Italian creativity and respect for traditions. Terreno Il Momento. This is Terreno’s wine made for immediate consumption. A Sangiovese and Merlot wine that is lighter in style and well-rounded with hints of cherry, raspberry, floral notes and soft polished tannins.

Our own wine that we make here in the winery at The Winery Hotel with grapes that are directly transported from Tuscany, Italy. It is made from 60 % Sangiovese and 10 % Merlot. It has a clear expression from the Sangiovese grape with its typical cherry-scented aromatics with fresh and clear tannins and a polished oak finish.
