Mallorca comes to The Winery Hotel

For two evenings, we bring the flavours of Mallorca to The Winery Hotel. Together with Mallorcan chef Joan Josep Genestar, we invite you to two different dining experiences – from a relaxed evening at Gallo Nero to a personal food and wine experience at Veranda Sangiovese.

Genestar has over three decades of experience as a chef, with a style of cooking rooted in Mallorca and the Mediterranean. Over the years, he has developed a cuisine that brings together Mallorcan ingredients and culinary traditions with his own experience and personal style.

There is also a personal story behind these dinners. Genestar and our Head Chef, Johan, first met at Genestar’s restaurant in Alcúdia, Mallorca. Over dinners and conversations about food and different cuisines, a friendship grew – and the idea of cooking together at The Winery Hotel in Stockholm gradually took shape.

A RELAXED EVENING IN MALLORCA

On Wednesday, our Italian trattoria, Gallo Nero, leaves Italy behind for an evening and heads to Mallorca. Together with chef Joan Josep Genestar, we invite you to a relaxed dinner featuring Mallorcan flavours and Spanish wines.

Choose our five-course menu or order your favourites from the evening’s à la carte menu. A wine pairing featuring Spanish wines, selected to complement the flavours of the evening, is also available with the set menu.

MALLORCA AT THE TABLE

A personal food and wine experience. On Thursday, we invite you to a six-course dinner in our private dining room, Veranda Sangiovese, where Mallorcan cuisine and Spanish wines take centre stage.

Joan Josep Genestar has created the evening’s menu, drawing on Mallorca’s ingredients and culinary traditions. To accompany the six courses, our Head Sommelier, John Sterner, has selected Spanish wines that reflect the country’s rich wine heritage and the unique characteristics of its different wine regions. Each wine has been carefully chosen to create a experience where food, wine and origin come together.

Genestar and John will be present throughout the dinner, introducing the dishes and wines and sharing the stories behind their origins and the thinking behind each pairing.

Six-course dinner including wine pairing: SEK 1,795 per person.
