This year, The Winery Hotel celebrates its 10th anniversary. Ten years of winemaking in the heart of the hotel, wine experiences, gastronomy and gatherings – always with wine at the centre. The Winery Hotel is one of the world’s first hotels with an urban winery under the same roof, and from the very beginning, we have set out to create a new way to stay, enjoy and come together. Here, the rustic charm of Tuscany meets the urban spirit of Brooklyn, while our own vineyard, Terreno in Chianti Classico, connects the hotel with the origins of wine and the craftmanship behind every bottle.
Every autumn, freshly harvested grapes arrive from Tuscany at the winery in the heart of the hotel. With them comes the story of the year at the vineyard – of the place, the weather and the people behind the harvest. This is where the journey of our very own Winery Red begins, as we start crafting a new vintage. It is also when we celebrate the harvest with our Harvest Party – and this year, we have more reason than ever to celebrate.
On 9–10 October, we invite you to join us for Harvest Weekend of the Decade. For two days, wine and the harvest take centre stage, with craft wines, food, music and celebrations. Friday brings our traditional Harvest Party, while Saturday features a specially created harvest menu. On both days, together with our wine importer Budbreak, we also invite you to the Harvest Wine Walk, where you can discover and taste craft wines from a selection of producers.
A decade naturally calls for a celebration with wine. During the anniversary weekend, we will release a limited-edition 2016 Chianti Classico – one of the region’s most celebrated vintages, which has been ageing in Terreno’s wine cellar for almost a decade.

Harvest dinnerSaturday's celebrations continue with food and wine at the centre. Discover craft wines during the Harvest Wine Walk, before continuing the evening at Terreno Kitchen with a specially created four-course harvest menu. Here, the wine takes the lead and the food is created around its flavours, allowing you to enjoy food and wine in harmony. Sleep well in one of our elegantly designed hotel rooms, enjoy a lie-in and wake up to our generous breakfast buffet. |
JUBILEE RELEASE – CHIANTI CLASSICO 2016
Some vintages are worth waiting for. When the 2016 harvest was complete, we knew this was a wine worth giving more time. A limited number of bottles were therefore set aside in Terreno’s wine cellar, where the wine has been allowed to mature and develop for almost a decade. Now, as The Winery Hotel celebrates its 10th anniversary, we are releasing this Chianti Classico from one of the region’s most celebrated vintages.

The age limit for the Harvest Wine Walk is 18 and applies only to the wine tasting. The rest of the hotel remains open as usual to guests of all ages.
