Champagne tasting

Join us for a Champagne tasting where we explore what makes this sparkling wine one of the world’s most celebrated beverages. During the session, you’ll sample a selection of carefully chosen Champagnes while learning more about their origins, vinification methods and different styles.

We’ll compare the characteristics of Brut, Extra Brut, and Demi-Sec, examine grape compositions and discover how different terroirs influence the final expression in the glass. Additionally, we’ll cover ageing, serving and the perfect food pairings for Champagne.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced wine taster, this is an opportunity to expand your knowledge and experience Champagne in a new way. A total of 4 Champagnes will be tasted. The session is led by The Winery Hotel’s head sommelier, John Sterner.

No prior knowledge required. The tasting is held in Swedish.
